Hi, I’m Sheila, founder of Northeastern Oklahoma Bookkeeping LLC.
I created my bookkeeping business with a simple goal: to provide small business owners with dependable, personalized bookkeeping support so they can spend less time worrying about their books and more time focusing on the businesses they have worked so hard to build.
My background includes decades of experience across accounting, business operations, hospitality, transportation, ecommerce, and small business ownership. Throughout my career, I have worked with financial records, reconciliations, reporting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll-related accounting, inventory, business operations, and accounting software.

As a business owner myself, I understand that running a small business means wearing a lot of hats.

I started Northeastern Oklahoma Bookkeeping to bring together several things that are important to me.
I wanted to use my accounting and business experience to help small business owners. I wanted the opportunity to provide the kind of personalized bookkeeping support that can sometimes be difficult for a small business to find.
I also wanted to build something of my own—something that would give me greater flexibility, allow me to spend more time with my family, and help me build a stronger future for the people I love.
That personal connection to entrepreneurship is one reason I have such respect for other small business owners.
When you trust someone with your books, you are trusting them with an important part of everything you are building.
I don’t take that responsibility lightly.

Good bookkeeping isn’t something that happens once a year. Consistent monthly attention helps keep your financial records organized and up to date.
If something doesn’t make sense, I’ll ask questions. If I see something that needs attention, I’ll address it rather than simply pushing transactions through the system.
